Why?

 

Why did I make a blog about the Netherlands you ask? Well, the main reason why I was interested in researching the Netherlands was because of a music artist I like named Joost Klein. He was a contestant on Eurovision 2024 competing with the song Europapa.

Another big point for me being drawn to this country is because it was the first ever nation to make LGBTQIA+ marriage legal, as someone who is in that community I find this to be a huge interest point. Taking a deeper look into this culture will probably make me want to visit the Netherlands at the end of it all. This blog will help me learn about it as I have little knowledge of the country and its culture. And, this also will encourage me to take deeper looks into other countries I am interested in.

I intend to get the best information on the Netherlands and Dutch culture within this blog. Since I am not too knowledgeable about the Netherlands and have never been to the country before I will ensure credibility on these subjects by using multiple sources and facts checking all new Information found. I also want to take a look at people’s personal experiences if that is something I am able to find and utilize.
