The oldest neighborhood in Amsterdam is the Red Light District, or "De Wallen," as the locals call it. Amsterdam takes great pride in its tolerant and liberal outlook. Therefore, they legalize it rather than make it a crime to enjoy these things. It has museums, strip clubs, sex stores, brothels, live performances, legal window prostitution, and several marijuana-selling coffee shops.

In the Netherlands, prostitution is legal, but not on the streets; it is regulated within certain areas. With their own room at the back, legal prostitutes in Amsterdam stand up behind a window in the streets of De Wallen. The police, tax, and health agencies also regulate and control them.
Coffeeshops:
Coffee shops are a well-liked tourist destination in Amsterdam. Along with smoking joints while listening to loud music, they also sell hashish. A lot of individuals come to the city to smoke weed. Although this is against the law, the Dutch government tolerates it. The public space anti-smoking law does not apply here. 3- Drinking alcohol in public places is prohibited and carries a €95 fine.
4-Trash cannot be left in canals or streets, and doing so carries a fine.
