Language: Despite Dutch being the official language, the majority of people also speak English along with other foreign languages, such as French or German.

Society and people: In general, Dutch people are tolerant and open-minded. There are currently more than 200 different nationalities in Dutch society. The Dutch have a reputation for being straightforward. It is common for people to express their thoughts and feelings about everything and everything. Dutch people believe that when people are straightforward and express their opinions, things are transparent and easy to understand, and everyone is aware of their position.

LGBTQIA+ Rights: The first nation in the world to legalize gay marriage was the Netherlands in 2001 and it was the first nation to publicly allow gay soldiers to serve in the armed forces. There are no legal restrictions on the promotion or debate of LGBTQ+ topics in the Netherlands. In addition to protecting sexual orientation, the Equal Rights Act of 1993 was construed to protect gender identity, expression, and sex characteristics. Later, the constitution was modified to include sexual orientation as a protected category against discrimination.
